Implementation Research
Research protocols and guidance that help country teams test and strengthen nutrition interventions.
Technical Program Design
Nutrition and food security program design grounded in evidence and built for the context.
Who I work with
International NGOs and implementing partners
Donor-funded programs
Multilateral development organizations
How I work
Frame the question.
We agree on what the work needs to answer and who will use the results.
Build on the evidence.
I design the approach around what is already known and what the context allows.
Deliver work that gets used.
Findings arrive on time, within budget, and in a form teams can act on.
About
I'm Kavita Sethuraman. For more than 20 years I've worked in global health and nutrition, much of it leading USAID-funded programs and the teams behind them. I led the Nutrition in Humanitarian Contexts team at USAID Advancing Nutrition, and at FHI 360's FANTA project I grew a maternal and child health and nutrition portfolio from about $500K to $5M a year and directed 20+ country food security analyses. I hold a PhD in nutrition and gender from University College London, serve as a Technical Trustee on the board of the Emergency Nutrition Network, and am First Editor for maternal and child health and nutrition at the Journal of Nutritional Science. I work in English and French.
